How to use the Start From a Previous Proposal workflow

In addition to starting from a New Blank Proposal we now offer a new way to quickly create your bid

When you maneuver to the Bids tab of a brand new project in RhinoDox you will now see a new button available to create your proposal - Start From a Previous Proposal. This new creation method is designed for users that have an ideal proposal they've previously created that fits the upcoming bid. This could be a single scope lumpsum budget, a division specific multi scope bid for something you frequently perform, or maybe you only bid one type of work and use the same information bid after bid.

Utilizing this method allows users to quickly duplicate a chosen proposal's Project Description, Scopes, Alternates, and Qualifications into the new proposal. While this information transfers into the new proposal, crucial specifics like scope/alternates prices, dates, configurable data fields, GCs/GC Contacts, and Inclusions/Exclusions DO NOT transfer over and need to be manually configured.

Admin users will be able to select a proposal to duplicate from any previously created project.

Non-admin users will be able select from any project that they were assigned to, in any status, or any project that's currently in the Open status.
