Divisions and Branches are internal facing Project fields that, when used correctly, can provide strategic insights into your bidding history in your RhinoDox Analytics dashboard as well as allow more granular pipeline tracking.
DIVISIONS
Think of Divisions as the different types of work your business can do. For example; Electrical, External Glazing, Interior Drywall, HVAC, Plumbing, etc. Specific templates and Clause Libraries can be tied to each Division as well to streamline the proposal creation process for estimators.
Each project can only have ONE Division attached to it, so if Electrical and HVAC could appear on the same proposal, then those would not be great candidates for Divisions and maybe something like Direct to Owner, and, Commercial GC would be better options.

BRANCHES
This field is meant to improve pipeline tracking if your company has multiple locations.
However, if you only have one location that your business operates out of then this field can be used to track your pipeline in different cities in your area, surrounding states in your region, or counties. For example; if my business is located in Chicago, IL and we try to win bids in metropolitan areas across the Midwest then I might add Branches like: Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul, etc. Or Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, etc.
